Just opened their doors: Bistronomic

Bistronomic

Head Chef: Martial Noguier

840 N. Wabash {Between Pearson + Chestnut}
(312) 944-8400

Opened this past Friday, February 4th. The price point for the menu is fantastic, between $7 and $23 you can order a dish prepared by Martial Noguier (former head chef at OneSixty Blue and CafĂ© des Architectes). Translation: an elegant yet casual  eating spot in the Gold Coast with a focus on the freshest of cheese and charcuterie from Midwest farms. Signature items include a rustic grilled cheese, oxtail ravioli, and black mussels. While the opening is starting off slow, with dinner service only, brunch and lunch will eventually be available. Genius! Noguier knows that the tired feet, empty stomachs, and lighting-hot plastic card holders will need a place to take a hiatus in between stores on and around Michigan ave.
Similar to places like Avec, the menu is divided into small, medium, and large plates ideal for all types of appetites. Dominating the wine list are Californian and French varietals. Noguier promises to make Bistronomic an enduring Gold Coast fixture, "I want to open my home," he said. "I want to be a chef for the neighborhood."
