The successful duo behind DMK burger bar (Michael Kornick and David Morton) are teaming up for a new venture, Fishbar. While the name lacks originality, the concept is definitely welcome. Fishbar is ushering in an essence from the deep south that's entirely missing from our expansive city's restaurant repertoire. Inspired by New Orleans' world famous fish grills, Fishbar promises to be a flavor-packed hotspot featuring delectable seafood creations. A large, wrap-around bar is fit for the center of the space and four seater booths will line the oversized windows facing Sheffield. You won't have to go far from the beloved DMK to get some Nola love, Fishbar is right next door at the corner of Sheffield and Wellington. Fishbar is due to open in early spring, review to come.
